Conversion of PPT to SQL Database Commences

The process of converting PPT from a Paradox database to an MS SQL Sever database has begun.  Over the next few months programmers will switch connections and some processes to using an SQL Server database.  When complete the application will handle greater volumes of data.  Improvements in speed will also be achieved.  Users will also be able to save many more results than the existing version.  The introduction of snapshots will allow users to revert models back to previous states.

Documentation for DataViewer Enterprise Underway

User Manuals and Setup Guides for DataViewer Enterprise are currently being compiled.  When complete the documentation will include information for DataViewer Designer Enterprise, DataViewer Enterprise, and Charting in DataViewer Enterprise.

Conversion of MMS SQL is Complete

Conversion of MMS from a Paradox database to an MS SQL Server database is now complete.  The new version of MMS is now being implemented by clients.  The new version handles more data and is improved in speed and performance.

July 2004

Conversion of Asset Register is Complete

Conversion of Asset Register from a Paradox database to an MS SQL Server database is now complete.  The new version offers better performance and can support databases with larger amounts of data.  New controls have also been added to the form designer.  Utilities have also been created to aid in conversion of existing AR Pro applications to the new AR Enterprise format.
