Configuring Grid
The grid has may features for the user to configure and
manipulate data for viewing.
- Order Columns - change the order of the columns to place
related information side by side
- Group by Column headers - drag and drop column headers into
the 'group by' area to group data by column heading

- Group and Column Totals - apply common mathematical functions
(sum, min, max, average) to group and column footers
- Stack grid - vertically stack columns to cluster data for ease of
viewing
- Fix Columns - use the fix columns option to 'fix'
information on the left side of the grid while scrolling long
line of information
- Grid Properties - set custom colors for the grouping
hierarch
- Hide Columns - move columns that are not interest to a
'holding bin' so they are not displayed in the grid.
Move them back later when thy are required. DataViewer remembers which are hidden and
resumes the display when the view is closed and reopened
- Sort on Multiple Columns - further enhance the data display
by sorting on numerous columns to arrange the data in the
desired order.
