DOTS is a simulation tool which demonstrates Asset Management concepts to Network
Managers. It features an intuitive interface, and easy-to-use menus.
DOTS has one main screen that puts all of the information that you need at your
fingertips. A friendly, graphical display makes it easy to see at-a-glance, the details
that concern you most.
Each of the dots shows a section of the road network and it’s current age and
status. As time progresses, the colors of the dots show degradation of the section.
Numerous environment variables can be set in the DOTS Control Panel, which is a
separate executable. Both of these tools are available free of charge from VEMAX
Management, Inc.
