Form Designer
The form designer is the heart of the Asset Register Pro
Designer.
Design forms in Asset Register Pro to display and edit data in
an existing, or newly created database.
Concerned about data integrity? Use combo boxes and
prepare a fixed list of values that can be selected. Use a
lookup combo box and tie it to an existing
database for valid values. Data integrity is set by the configuration
manager. Set the properties of each component to meet the required
needs of data input.
Set the tab order so the screen input follow the logical order
of data input.
Use multi-page forms (tabs) for displaying multiple forms or
logical groups of information. Useful when entering field
data collected on large forms.
Make individual fields read-only for data a user needs to see
but does not have the authority to modify.
