Project Engineer
Nicole Allen has experience working in the areas of asset management,
transportation and land development. In the past year Nicole has worked closely
with Saskatchewan Municipalities working on projects to move municipalities
towards long term financial planning and Infrastructure Management by leveraging
PS 3150 information. She was also involved in multiple pilot projects and
training sessions to assist Saskatchewan rural and urban municipalities in
becoming PS 3150 compliant. Nicole, along with other VEMAX staff, completed PS
3150 asset inventories and valuations for over 70 different communities. As
well, Nicole has worked with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and
Infrastructure to develop a method to quantify greenhouse gas emissions for
various highway upgrade alternatives. She has worked in conjunction with
Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure and individual communities
to evaluate various rehabilitation, replacement and upgrade alternatives for a
range of existing infrastructure. Nicole was involved with a project funded by
Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure and the City of Saskatoon
in piloting various methods of condition based asset valuation.
