Technical Advisor (Asset Management)

Colin Ackehurst's experience comprises of road, municipal services, information services, and municipal planning along with extensive maintenance experience. These skills have been supplemented with asset management and maintenance management experience gained during his partnership in Ackehurst, Gardner, Thomas and Associates Pty. Ltd.

Ackehurst, Gardner, Thomas and Associates Pty. Ltd. was acquired by VEMAX Management Pty. Ltd. in 1996.

Colin's career with various municipal governments and with Ackehurst, Gardner, Thomas and Associates Pty. Ltd. has given him the opportunity to be involved with private industry, local government and provincial government agencies as well as regulatory bodies. This involvement has been at all levels of management with these organizations.

Mr. Ackehurst has worked on projects for Australian road agencies, as well as various cities and shires, in the following areas: Pavement Management Systems, Maintenance Management Systems, Emergency Planning, Economic Analysis, Municipal Services Evaluations, Information Systems, and Corridor Planning

    Over the last four (4) years Colin A Ackehurst has been a partner in the Consultancy of Ackehurst, Gardner, Thomas and Associates. This Consultancy has been implementing the RTA Pavement Management System (RTA PMS) and the RTA Asset Maintenance Management System (RTA MMS) in Victorian municipalities, as the Victorian Agent for the Roads and Traffic Authority of New South Wales.
