Asset Management
- Training and implementation of a Pavement Management System for a national maintenance contractor. Outputs from the PMS used to demonstrate long term preservation of the State Road Network in a ten year performance contract bid in 1997.
- Implementation of Maintenance Management System for a national maintenance contractor in 1999. Included staff training, organizational analysis, business process design, and change management.
- Development of detailed business processes for data collection and pavement management analysis for a number of Victorian councils in 1999 and 2000. Key outcomes included
training council staff to evaluate condition measurement methodologies, analyze condition data, develop 20 year strategic plan and two year operational plans.
- Undertook a community consultation project for a metropolitan council in Victoria in 2000. The outcomes included the establishment of current levels of service for all asset types (roads, parks, gardens, footpaths, bridges and buildings) based on physical condition, community perspective and owner perspective. Outputs also included an analysis of costs to improve the current level of service over a period of time and is an outstanding example of the city's commitment to Best Value Victoria.
